Workin Hard For the Money

Well, last night I taught my first supervised class and I think perhaps this has some how made me official. My boss said that I did good teaching the class, though I do occasionally need to slow down my speech. So it looks like I am now part of the teaching 'team' though I will start off teaching only a few classes. I need to wait for the two teachers who are leaving, to leave before I pick up to many more hours.

I think teaching the classes is fairly easy, most of the students really want to learn and that helps a lot. I also think getting over my fears of public speaking at the Nebraska Humane Society helped a lot too. As long as I am not in front of hundreds and I know what I am talking about, I am good to go.

I am a bit worried about my Kindergarten class as I have been warned of "Kancho". No really, click the link to find out what "Kancho" is... As an American, I am just not quite sure of how to deal with that. I guess I will figure out what to do if it happens.
