Molested
I knew it was inevitable... the kindergarten class was eventually going to have their way with me. Yesterday, they did. With a sweet innocent face, one of my younger students came up to me, gave me a happy grin, which at the time I thought was about the new game, and then grabbed my boobs. Full frontal assault.
Fortunately I have been practicing my mean face and didn't freak out. I am hoping the firm, "No, thats not funny face" was effective, as she seemed to get the point. Much like wild animals, never show them your fear. If they see that you freak out about it, it just makes them want to do it more.
I guess you sort of expect to get poked in the boobs, but I wasn't really ready for the full on double squeeze. I just keep telling myself its a cultural difference.
Shortly after my groping, my second hazing happened. Getting poked intentionally in the crotch. The second student was the frequent ass smacker, so I was a bit suspicious and mostly dodged. Cultural Difference. Cultural Difference. Cultural Difference. If I keep repeating it, perhaps I can make it sink all the way in.
I guess had I not read about it online, I might be a bit more shocked. I guess kids everywhere have ways of testing their teachers... this is just not one I am familiar with.

I believe the latter is called being "kancho'd" or similar. Not had it at my workplace, but I've heard it's been attempted a few times in other areas (of Japan, not the body!).
And yeah - it's just a cultural thing with the kids you have to get used to and avoid if possible. You could get angry about it, but nothing much will change if you do
